Splicing specialty fibers
Fiber laser sources are built from specialty optical fibers: large-diameter fibers (LDF) and polarization-maintaining fibers (PMF) that a standard telecom splicer cannot join well. The FSM-100 series is designed for this work in factories, laboratories and R&D centres.
